This file is a database Definition File (.dbd) that registers the sshMonitorCoreProcess function.

The sshMonitorCoreProcess function is registered, so that it can be found in the function registry for use by the aSub record type (which refer to the function by name).

The sshMonitorCoreProcess function is definied in the sshmonitorASubCore.c file and is used by the aSub record of the ssh_monitor_core.template file.
